According to News.com, AOL is expected to drop its long-established tradition of using solely RealNetworks' streaming technology in its mainstream products.
I use to like Real play until they changed to Realone. Now, it's longer possible to disable that very annoying message centre and thus I try to avoid installing it if at all possible!! One thing I done was blocked Real's message centre from accessing the Internet, so while it still runs in the background, it no longer can retrieve advertisments from the web. ;-)
